Health Care Benefits

Health Care benefits, such as those sometimes provided by an employer, or purchased independently through companies such as Alberta Blue Cross, Great West, Manulife, etc. may provide coverage for ambulance services. Patients must contact their provider to determine if this is the scenario. Unfortunately Beaver Emergency Medical Services is unable to direct bill most insurance providers and arrangements must be made by the patient and the insurance company for payment. Additionally, most providers do not offer 100% coverage for our services and the remaining balance is the responsibility of the patient.
